Small Bore Competition

The club will be holding a Small Bore Competition at our Pondock Shooting Ground on Sunday for guns 18 bore or under. Those wishing to come along and shoot without competing in the cup are also welcome to do so. We will be onsite from 09.30 setting up with shooting commencing at 10.30.

Christmas Muzzle Loading Competition

On Sunday the 12th December 2021 the club will be holding a special Christmas Muzzle Loading Competition (20 single birds) at Pondock, after the competition we will be holding a 1/2 oz muzzle loading knockout competition. .There will be prizes down to third place in both competitions ***Shooting will start promptly at 10am*** Any club members who are not participating are welcome to shoot black powder guns alongside the competitions. North of England Spring Nationals
The Yorkshire Powder Burners will be hosting the North of England Spring Nationals on Saturday the 22nd April 2023. The event will once again be held at the Upwood Hall Shoot, Ilkley Road, West Morton, Crossflats, Nr Bingley, BD20 5RB.

Hammergun Competition

The Yorkshire Powder Burners will be holding a Breech Loading Hammergun Competition on Sunday. We will be on site from 9.30am setting up with shooting starting at 10.10am. The shoot is open to all black powder shotguns and all are welcome.

On Sunday the 10th December 2023 the club will be holding the second running of the Mick Rush Memorial Shield (20 single birds) at Pondock. There will be awards down to third place in the competition. ***Shooting will start promptly at 10am*** The competition is classed as ‘open’ allowing non members to compete. Any club members who are not participating are welcome to shoot black powder guns alongside the competition.
