Small Bore Competition

The club will be holding a Small Bore Competition at our Pondock Shooting Ground on Sunday the 13th October 2019 for guns 18 bore or under. Those wishing to come along and shoot without competing in the cup are also welcome to do so. We will be onsite from 09.30 setting up with shooting commencing at 10.30.

Christmas Muzzle Loading Shoot

On Sunday the 8th December 2019 the club will be holding a special Christmas Muzzle Loading Competition (20 single birds) at Pondock, after the competition we will be holding a 1/2 oz muzzle loading knockout competition. .There will be prizes down to third place in both competitions ***Shooting will start promptly at 10am*** Any club members who are not participating are welcome to shoot black powder guns alongside the competitions. The Club will be hosting the MLAGB Spring Nationals at the Greystone Wood Shooting Ground on Saturday the 25th April 2020. Further details will be posted nearer the event date.

Sporting Cup Competition

We will be holding the Sporting Cup competition at Pondock, the competition is open to muzzle loaders only. Anyone wanting to shoot sporting guns can do so without being entered into the competition. We will be on site from 09.30am with shooting commencing at approximately 10.30am

The Yorkshire Powder Burners will be holding a Breech Loading Hammergun Competition on Sunday. We will be on site from 9.30am setting up with shooting starting at 10.30am. The shoot is open to all black powder shotguns and all are welcome.
